At their show in Berlin tonight, ONE DIRECTION performed a cover ofCeline Dion‘s hit single, ’My Heart Will Go On’, as per a fan’s request.

One Direction have sent fans into a frenzy after revealing they have “the most exciting 1D news ever” and launching a new website with a countdown to their huge announcement.

The ‘Live While We’re Young’ heartthrobs are currently in Europe on their ‘Take Me Home’ tour but took time out to tease fans with some special news that they have on the way, fuelling speculation it’s related to their forthcoming new album.

While details are currently sparse, it’s possible that the lads will announce news in relation to their upcoming third album which they are busy recording while on tour.

Louis Tomlinson recently revealed that while they “don’t want to rush it,” the album could be out by the end of the year.

“We’ve already started recording the album, we started about a month ago. We’ve been writing and recording while on tour. We’re really happy with it. We don’t want to rush it but it’ll be out for Christmas,” Louis told the Daily Star.

Meanwhile, the boyband are also gearing up for the premiere of their first ever 3D concert movie, ‘This Is Us,’ which will hit cinemas on August 30 and is being directed by Morgan Spurlock.

Louis, Zayn, Niall, Liam & Harry will reportedly bank £10million each…

One Direction are reportedly on course to take home £50million in the next six months.

Harry Styles and Co are due to release their third LP in time for Christmas, with The Sunreporting the lads are tipped to sell a million copies in the US alone by 2014.

A source revealed: “They’ll each get £10million. Striking while the iron is hot is key.”

The tabloid also claims that the boyband will also pocket royalties from their forthcoming 3D concert flick This Is Us, with soft-drink giant Pepsi also expected to extend their deal with them.

Earlier this week, pal Ed Sheeran claimed that 1D have finished their eagerly anticipated new album - adding that he hasn’t written any songs this time around.

Louis Tomlinson says band has been in studio for a month already.

One Direction fans should make some room under the tree, because the boys are planning to deliver their third album by Christmas.

That’s according to member Louis Tomlinson, who told England’s Daily Star that they’ve already been hard at work on the follow-up to last year’sTake Me Home.

“We’ve already started recording the album, we started about a month ago,” Tomlinson said. “We’ve been writing and recording it while on tour. We are really happy with it.

 We don’t want to rush it but it will be out for Christmas.”

The group is reportedly working with the same production and songwriting team that helped on Home and their 2011 debut, Up All Night. In addition to all five members lending a hand in songwriting, they’ve been recording vocals in hotel rooms while on tour. “We have the film coming out as well so we are all pretty shattered but we are all having a great time,” said Tomlinson about the upcoming 3-D flick, “This Is Us,”
 directed by documentarian Morgan Spurlock. “We have had a week off this week before heading on to Europe for the tour.”

A mini freak-out erupted earlier this month when rumors emerged thatHarry Styles was prepping a solo album,
 sparking fears that there may be cracks in their unified front. At the time, a rep told The Daily Mail that it was all for the good of the group.

“Harry is not recording solo material. All of the band are working on tracks for their third album,” the rep told the paper. “Harry is putting together some ideas for the record. The boys sometimes work up ideas separately as well as working together, as they did last year. Niall for example recently collaborated with Tom and Dougie from McFly on new tracks.”

A spokesperson for 1D confirmed that they are in the studio with a goal of releasing the disc in time for the holidays, but that no firm street date is set.

One Direction, the biggest-selling global act to emerge from “The X Factor,” has received 10 nominations in eight categories for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, which will be presented on May 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. ABC will have the U.S. telecast of the show that night. The nominations were announced on April 22, 2013.

The nominations and awards are based on Billboard’s tracking period from March 12, 2012 to March 10, 2013.

One Direction will not be able to attend the 2013 Billboard Music Awards in person because the group will be on tour in Italy.

One Direction are nominated in the following eight categories:

• Top Artist
• Top New Artist
• Top Duo/Group
• Top Billboard 200 Artist
• Top Social Artist
• Top Pop Artist
• Top Billboard 200 Album (for “Up All Night” and “Take Me Home”)
• Top Pop Album (for “Up All Night” and “Take Me Home”)

One Direction came in third place on “The X Factor” U.K. in 2010 and has since had No. 1 hits and sold-out tours in several countries.

Because Billboard has a year-end issue that lists the top artists in many categories, One Direction will almost certainly win the prize for Top New Artist, since Billboard already declared in its year-end issue of 2012 that One Direction is the best-selling new artist of 2012.

Taylor Swift and Adele are expected to win several of the top awards at the show. Adele is widely predicted to take the prizes for Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Pop Album and Top Billboard 200 Album for her mega-smash second album, “21.” Swift is a shoo-in to win in the country categories. Swift or Adele will win the prize for Top Female Artist. Justin Bieber is likely to win Top Male Artist. Maroon 5 is most likely to win Top Duo/Group. Rihanna will be the biggest winner in the R&B categories. And the award for Top Artist will probably go to Swift.

Maroon 5 has 14 nominations in 11 categories. The rock band fun. has 13 nominations in 11 categories. Swift has 12 nominations in 12 categories. Rihanna has 10 nominations in 10 categories. Carly Rae Jepsen has nine nominations in nine categories.

Swift, Bruno Mars and Bieber are finalists for the Milestone Award, a new prize that will be awarded to an artist who had a milestone on the Billboard charts in the eligible time period. Unlike the other awards at the show, the Milestone Award is voted on by fans.

Prince will be honored with the Billboard Icon Award at the ceremony. Tracy Morgan is the host of the show.
